Talk Show is an unedited recording of a live performance which took place in front of an audience for Performa 09 in New York in 2009. Sitting on a stage, an invited guest recounted the loss of a partner or family member in the context of political activism. The six persons who follow will each hear the story for the first time and repeat it to the next person, like a game of Chinese whispers. As it travels between strangers, the private story enters the public domain, gradually mutating like a virus or a fairy tale, while the audience watches omnisciently from above.  There were no scripts or rehearsals. The piece was performed on three consecutive nights, each time with a different initial guest: Bill Ayers, Lisa Ramaci and David Kaczynski. The following recording from the second evening, November 12, 2009 is 65 minutes long.
